FGN Global Logistics will complete 2015 with its third straight year of forty plus percent revenue growth.
Since re-branding the company at the start of 2013, FGN has driven sustained growth that has allowed the company to expand its operations into all major bulk liquid markets in the United States.
During 2015 the company helped found the Indigo Flexitank Network, a consortium of flexitank logistics companies that operate as a global cooperative. Indigo provides FGN with partners and operations worldwide.
Rob Parrish, FGN’s president, describes the company’s development this way:
“Our vision to offer the market an integrated flexitank logistics service has taken shape over the past three years. FGN is a full-service supply chain management company that distinguishes itself as the only such company for flexitank logistics. Our strategy to integrate rail, truck and steamship transport with flexitank products and operations, in order to deliver an “easy-to-use” service, has been realized.
“By using state-of-the-art logistics technologies, we have been able to reduce our company overhead and transfer substantial value to our customers and employees. FGN’s unique technology platform and highly skilled employees create a kind of virtuous circle that delivers a superior service to our customers.”
During 2015 FGN made significant inroads into the global Base Oil and Additives sector. We now load at more than 20 refineries and packaging facilities in the US alone, making the company the largest exporter of flexitank-loaded lubricants in North America. The company expects to further increase its dominance of this sector by supporting various innovative international distribution models being implemented by its customers.
“Our sustained and well-managed growth over the past three years is a good harbinger for FGN’s future success,” says Mr. Parrish. “Our team here in Charleston has some of the finest logisticians I have had the honor to work with in my career. I expect 2016 to be our best year yet.”
